As of 2021, Lonely at the Top now consists of guitarist Matthew Leonetti, drummer Sean Callaghan, string player Jeremy Spielman, multi-instrumentalist and singer Eli Rosen, and the band's newest addition, bass player Daniel Kostrzewa. Lonely at the Top's style of music entails the stylings of bands such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, James Taylor, Band of Horses, Fleet Foxes, Sloan, Mumford and Sons, The Clarks, and many other bands of the classic rock era, and the modern years!

Formed in 2014 with friends Eli Rosen, Matthew Leonetti, and Jeremy Spielman, Lonely at the Top is a rock band that writes songs with influences from bands such as the Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Beach Boys, Band of Horses and more. Guitar solos, harmonies, and lyrics dealing with love and life in general are what make this band unique.

One thing that makes this band very unique is the many lineup changes this band has been through. Lonely at the Top started out with Eli Rosen and Matt Leonetti as a duo, as early as 2012, later joined by violist Jeremy Spielman in 2013. At the time, they went by the name, Stealing Harmony. In 2014, the band's first drummer Julian Steinfeild joined, and they donned the name Lonely at the Top. Later that year, they were joined by singer Ryan Galdo. For the band, this became the golden era. The three of them worked collaboratively within the group during the year 2015. Together with Matt and Eli's influence of classic and alternative rock, and Ryan's gospel influence, Lonely at the Top were to gain a measure of fame and infamy. Unfortunately, artistic differences and repeated lineup changes led to their partnership ending in 2016.

After a long dry spell that year, Matt and Eli joined forces with bassist Peter Roland, and drummer Joe Cummings. In 2017, Joe left the group and Sean Callaghan entered the picture. Later that year, Peter Roland left to be replaced by bassist Josh Meere. In 2018, the band, which now included Josh and Sean, stepped into Eli's fully-equipped recording studio to record their long-awaited eponymously-titled debut album. The album was completed in 2019, and is now available for purchase on bandcamp and in CD form!

Sadly, the following year would not be kind to Lonely at the Top. Following their only gig in 2020, the COVID-19 Pandemic  brought many social restrictions and many venues to close, some temporarily, some permanently, all across the globe. Lonely at the Top continued to maintain activity, and never gave up hope of making another album.

However, in 2021, Josh Meere was forced to split from the group for personal reasons. While it was an amicable split, it left Lonely at the Top in the all-too-familiar position of needing to hire a new bassist. Luckily, this vacancy was filled by Daniel Kostrzewa, a friend of Matt Leonetti, an a former member of the Brotherhood. Despite not being a singer, Dan's bass playing and camraderie has been a welcome addition to the band.

Lonely at the Top now looks forward to the future, with the pursuit of more gigs, and new recordings!
